Elqo vs Letter AI: Does Your Team Need a Full Revenue Enablement Platform, or Proof People Actually Learned It?

If you have been shopping for enablement or training tools lately, you have probably come across Letter AI. It raised $40 million in a Series B in February 2026, on top of a $10.6 million Series A a few months earlier, and it has grown its customer base 15x in a year with enterprise logos like Zscaler, Lenovo, Adobe, and Samsara. It is one of the most talked-about names in revenue enablement right now, and for good reason: it is trying to do almost everything.

That is also the right place to start this comparison, because Elqo and Letter AI are not really solving the same problem. Letter AI wants to be the operating system your whole revenue team works inside. Elqo wants to answer one question fast: did the person on your team actually understand what they were just trained on. Both use AI. Both can turn your existing documents into training material. What happens after that content exists is where the two products diverge.

The core difference

Think of it like the difference between a new car with every feature built in, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, a built-in concierge, versus a single, very good dashboard gauge you can bolt onto any car you already own. Letter AI is the new car: content creation, training, coaching, deal intelligence, buyer-facing AI sales rooms, even automated RFP responses, all under one AI-native platform. Elqo is the gauge: a fast, accurate readout of whether someone actually knows the material, that works regardless of what system built the training in the first place.

Neither approach is wrong. They are built for different moments. Letter AI is built for a team ready to consolidate its entire revenue stack into one platform. Elqo is built for the much more specific, much more common moment: you have training material, somewhere, in some format, and you need to know right now whether it worked.

What each tool does

Letter AI

Letter AI describes itself as an “AI-native Revenue Activation” platform, built in 2023 and now backed by Battery Ventures, Y Combinator, and others. It is organised around five modules. Letter Compass acts as a command center for each seller, pulling in conversational intelligence, deal coaching, and meeting prep tied to live CRM data. Its training and coaching module generates interactive, video-based, multi-modal training and AI roleplay with configurable buyer personas. A content module creates, organises, and personalises sales assets. A chat agent answers questions grounded in a company’s own product data. And a newer “Deal Pursuit” feature automates RFP responses and spins up personalised AI sales rooms for buyers.

The training piece can build certification paths and interactive material from a company’s existing documents, and the product page says hands-on activities get evaluated by AI, though the public materials do not go into detail on how that scoring actually works, or whether assessment happens through text, voice, or both. Letter AI holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, and states customer data is not used to train its models.

Elqo

Elqo is a performance readiness platform. It takes training content you already have, video, slides, PDFs, documents, and converts it into active assessments. Instead of a multiple-choice quiz, learners respond out loud, in writing, or via multiple choice, and Elqo scores those responses directly against the source material. No new course has to be built first. You upload what you already have and get a live assessment the same day.

Elqo’s own line sums up the philosophy: multiple choice tells you what someone would click, speaking tells you what they would actually say. That is the whole product, built around one question, done thoroughly, rather than one module inside a much larger suite.

Who each tool is best for

Letter AI makes the most sense for a revenue organisation ready to replace several separate tools, content management, training, coaching, deal intelligence, with one AI-native platform, and that has the budget and implementation capacity to do a full rollout. If your team is drowning in disconnected point solutions and wants one system handling the whole seller workflow from onboarding through live deal support, that is what Letter AI is building toward.

Elqo makes more sense for a team that already has training content somewhere, in whatever format, and needs a fast, specific answer: did this land. You are not replacing your enablement stack, your LMS, or your CRM. You are adding one capability most of those systems do not do well, proving comprehension rather than tracking completion or exposure.

Pricing

Neither company publishes a full price list. Both are demo-gated to some degree. What is known: Letter AI has raised roughly $51 million across two rounds in under two years, which typically points toward an enterprise sales motion and pricing to match, consistent with its customer list of large companies like Zscaler, Lenovo, and Samsara. Elqo’s published tiers run $3,000 to $12,000 AUD per year covering 1 to 500 users, a smaller commitment that does not require a full platform migration to get value. See Elqo pricing.

Letter AI is young enough that it does not yet have a public review track record to weigh against that price point. The Gartner listing for it shows no reviews at all as of this writing. That is not necessarily a red flag for a fast-growing, well-funded company, but it does mean a buyer evaluating Letter AI is relying more heavily on the vendor’s own claims and less on independently verified customer experience than with a more established platform.

Can you use both?

Yes, and that is probably the more useful framing for most teams than picking one. If your organisation is already building training inside Letter AI, or any other platform, Elqo can sit downstream of that content and answer the question those platforms tend to treat as secondary: did it actually work. You do not need to migrate anything out of Letter AI to run an Elqo assessment on the material it generated. The two are not mutually exclusive. Letter AI builds and runs the broader revenue motion. Elqo gives you a specific, fast readout on whether the training itself landed.

The verdict

If you are choosing between a full platform replacement and a focused comprehension check:

  1. If you need to consolidate your whole revenue stack and have the budget and rollout capacity for it, Letter AI’s breadth is a real advantage, and its funding and growth numbers suggest a company that is not going anywhere.
  2. If you need to know whether training actually worked, today, without a platform migration, Elqo answers that specific question faster and with a much smaller commitment.
  3. If security certification matters for your deal, Letter AI currently has the edge with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. Ask Elqo directly about its own roadmap if that is a requirement.
  4. If you want to see proof before you commit, Elqo’s published pricing and same-day setup means you can test the claim quickly. Letter AI’s assessment mechanism is not publicly detailed yet. Ask in a demo how hands-on activities are actually scored, and whether spoken responses are part of it.
  5. If your training already lives somewhere else, including inside Letter AI, Elqo does not ask you to rebuild it. It works with what is already there.

Multiple choice tells you what someone would click. A fully built-out AI platform tells you a lot of things at once. Elqo tells you, specifically and quickly, whether the person in front of you actually knows the material. Speaking tells you what they would say.

Frequently asked questions

What is the main difference between Elqo and Letter AI?
Letter AI is a full revenue enablement platform: content, training, coaching, deal intelligence, and buyer engagement. Elqo scores whether someone actually understood the training, against the source material you already have.

Does Letter AI replace Elqo, or the other way around?
Not necessarily. Letter AI is built to run a broader revenue motion. Elqo can sit downstream of content built in Letter AI, or anywhere else, and check whether that training landed.

Which one publishes pricing?
Elqo publishes tiers from $3,000 to $12,000 AUD per year for 1 to 500 users. Letter AI’s pricing is not public and is sales-led.

Which one has security certifications?
Letter AI holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001:2022, and states customer data is not used to train its models. Elqo’s certifications are not evidenced in public materials. Ask Elqo directly if a security questionnaire is a requirement.
